Today in class we presented our group projects. Also, Ellie brought
in food. She brought these cute polka dot napkins, halo oranges, bagels and
cream cheese, and chocolate chip cookies. Her group went first today. The two
countries that their presentation was on was Qatar and Haiti. Next, my group
went. Maddy and I are the two people in my group. The two countries we researched
for our project are Spain and Egypt. I think Maddy and I did pretty good on
presenting our project, so I hope we get a good grade.

- Haiti has more people than Qatar
- Haiti is a developing country. Struck by many natural disasters. High birth rate
- Qatar's main industry is oil. It is a mainly rich developed country, and it is predominately male
- Haiti's population is made up of 11.2% children between the age of one day and 4 years old
- Ready access to birth control changes the amount of children being born, especially in developing countries
